About AuditCrowBot
If you found this page in your server logs, here is who we are, what we read and how to reach us.
What AuditCrowBot is
AuditCrowBot is the fetcher behind AuditCrow's free tools and free page scan. It is run by 4D Services Limited in the UK. It fetches a web page so we can check it and show the result to the person who asked.
How to spot it
Requests from AuditCrowBot send this user agent:
AuditCrowBot/1.0 (+https://auditcrow.com/bot)
When it visits
Only when a person runs a check or scan on a page of your site. It reads that page, plus a few small public files such as robots.txt, llms.txt and your sitemap. It does not crawl your whole site, log in or submit forms.
Some tools never visit your website at all. The email security, SPF and DMARC checks read public DNS records only.
If you would like us to stop
If you'd like us to stop checking your site, contact us with the domain and we will sort it out.
