AI visibility is whether your business shows up - accurately - when someone asks an AI assistant a question your customers might ask, such as "who's a good [what you do] near me?". It's a different question from classic search ranking: an AI system has to be able to reach your page, understand it, and trust it enough to cite it.
The foundations of AI visibility overlap heavily with technical health: AI crawlers need to be allowed in, your key facts need to be easy to extract, and your business profiles need to be linked so an AI can confirm who you are. Get those right and you become citable rather than skipped.
